Ministry of Health extends condolences on passing of Nurse Crystal Young

By BBN Staff: Minister of Health, Pablo Marin, joins the health community and the ministry in extending deepest condolences to the family and friends on the passing of colleague, Crystal Young.

“She served as a registered nurse at the Punta Gorda NHI Polyclinic for 4 years until her health challenges prevented her from doing so. We know she was very passionate about her duties as a nurse and she will be missed by everyone she interacted with especially in the community she worked,” a statement from the Minsitry said.

In July, Nurse Young shared on her social media page that she had been diagnosed with Lupus.

She was battling the disease until her untimely passing.

“We once again express condolences to her immediate family, her husband and daughter and also to her colleagues at the clinic. We hope that the love and memories of Crystal will comfort and help strengthen you all in the difficult days ahead,” the ministry added.
