The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says that fair and warm conditions are expected to continue over the country today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for warm and mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy to clear tonight with only isolated showers or thunderstorms developing.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 92 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 99 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 85 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 77 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
“Residents, especially those inland, should stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible,” the Met Service said.
Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate.
High tide will come in at 7:49 a.m. and low tide will begin at 3:06 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:07 p.m. and the moon will rise at 4:43 p.m.
