Health officials monitor 863 active cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Over the last few weeks, Belize has experienced a rapid increase in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Health officials are currently monitoring 863 active cases of COVID-19

The country has now registered 994 confirmed cases of the virus.

Of the active cases, 381 are females and 482 are males.

Eight thousand and fifty tests have been conducted and the Ministry of Health continues to process samples.

One hundred and seventeen people in Belize have recovered from the virus.

Thirteen people have lost their lives due to COVID-19.
