Reimers Feed Mill warns against using Ivermectin for COVID-19 treatment

By BBN Staff: Reimers Feed Mill issued a statement on Sunday warning that it is aware of some social media posts claiming that Ivermectin is used to control/ cure COVID-19.

The company warns that the product is targeted for livestock animals.

The product is available at Reimers Feed Mill locations and the company says that the staff is trained to follow instructions based on the product’s label on how to administer the product on animals.

“RFM has no control on how customers use the products after they are purchased. However, we would like to recommend to our customers to follow advice and instructions issued by the Ministry of Health to control the spread of COVID-19,” the company said.
