By BBN Staff: Tropica Air has announced that several flights will be cancelled this week due to the anticipated effects of Tropical Storm Nana.
Tropic Air issued a statement today saying that all flights to/from Dangriga, Placencia & Punta Gorda have been cancelled.
“Flights between Corozal, San Pedro, Caye Caulker and Belize City Municipal will be suspended effective 10:30 am on Wednesday. Flights will resume once the “all clear” is given by the Government of Belize, and conditions allow us to do so,” the airline added.
Tropic air also encouraged all Belizeans to still exercise social distance and wear masks as they go through their preparations for the storm.
Tropical Storm Nana is expected to strengthen into a full hurricane by the time it reaches Belize on Thursday.
