Police offer reward for information on “Trenchtown” shootings

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department is offering a cash reward for information leading up to the person/persons responsible for the fatal shooting of Joshua Villas,28, and Anthony Tzul, 21, which occurred in the Trench Town area of San Ignacio last night.

Police say the reward can go up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and charge of whoever is responsible for the incident.

Villas was fatally shot shortly after 9 p.m. while at his home. Tzul, who lives in the same yard, was shot only seconds later and died of his injuries sometime after.

Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call the Crime Stoppers Belize hotline at 922.
