By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health’s preliminary data says that another 34 positive COVID-19 cases could be confirmed later today.
Director of Health services Dr. Marvin Manzanero explained today that the data is still awaiting validation and will be released this evening.
He noted that the lab technicians will need to ascertain if the cases are new cases or patients who are testing positive a second time, which could change the number by the time the official report is issued.
The last batch of 91 samples yielded 17 positive cases. That data was released yesterday.
