In accordance with the standards of operation of ports and under the authority granted by the Belize Port Authority Act, the order to close port operations is hereby cancelled,” the BPA said.
Hurricane Nana made landfall in southern Belize around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, causing damages to homes, buildings, and farms, but did not cause any injuries or casualties.
