Three armed thieves rob Supply Plus distributors

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred around 2:15 p.m. today at Supply Plus Distributors on Central American Boulevard in Belize City.

Alvan Gillett reported to police that he was inside the store when 3 men dressed in khaki Bowen and Bowen shirts entered his business establishment.

One of the men ordered a pack of cable ties and the other two waited inside.

Then, one of the men pulled out a gun, pointed it at Gillett’s employee and demanded money.

One of the employees ran to the back of the building, jumped the fence and ran away.

The thieves followed the employee and then escaped with a cell phone from an employee.

An investigation is ongoing.
