Doctor who tested positive for COVID-19 still intubated at Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital

By BBN Staff: The doctor from San Ignacio who had tested positive for COVID-19 is still intubated at the  Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

The doctor, an epidemiologist from the Western Health Region was taken to the KHMH on August 27.

In Friday’s session of Ask the Experts, Dr. Marvin Manzanero informed that the doctor is progressing fairly well and officials are aiming to extubate him soon.

The doctor is one of 2 patients intubated at the KHMH.
