Ministry of Health: 42 new cases of COVID-19 identified in Belize

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health says that of the 348 samples that were processed today, they identified 42 new cases of COVID-19.

The preliminary breakdown is as follows:

– Corozal District – 4

– Orange Walk District – 27

– Belize District – 2

– Cayo District – 9

Fifteen more persons have recovered from COVID-19 while two patients who were intubated were extubated earlier today at the KHMH. 

“They are recovering slowly and we continue to follow their clinical evolution, this includes our health care epidemiologist from the Western Health Region,” the Ministry noted.
