Two Covid-19 patients at KHMH ICU taken off ventilators

By BBN Staff: The Director of Health Services, Dr. Marvin Manzanero says that the two patients who were intubated at the KHMH have been successfully extubated.

One of the patients is the Epidemiologist from the Western Health Region who was taken to the KHMH last week.

Manzanero shared that the patients are recovering slowly.

“They are recovering slowly, and we continue to follow their clinical evolution, this includes our health care epidemiologist from the Western Health Region,” Manzanero expressed.

Fifteen patients recovered from COVID-19 today.

So far, two hundred and eighty seven people in Belize have recovered from the virus.
