Hero’s welcome for returning Constable Bernardo Ical in Belmopan

By Aaron Humes: Commissioner of Police Chester Williams told reporters in Belmopan that  he was bound and determined to bring Constable Bernardo Ical home to his family.

And he got a hero’s welcome with a helicopter landing at the Police Training Academy, Belmopan, met by joyful family members.

The Commissioner said he and Minister of National Security Michael Peyrefitte played a hunch and conducted a flyover of the area between Machakilha post and Garcia Farm.

Ical made his way back mostly unharmed to Machakilha on Monday afternoon.
