“Fair weather will continue,” says Met Service

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says that generally fair weather will prevail over the country today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, with the chance of a few more occurring over the extreme south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 76 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast between 05-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.

Low tide will begin at 9:17 a.m. and high tide will come in at 3:14 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:59 p.m. and the moon will rise at 11:04 p.m.
