By BBN Staff: Forty eight Belizean scholarship recipients who were awarded the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) scholarships are scheduled to leave for Taiwan by end of September and some will depart in October.

“Today, we were happy to welcome the first group of scholarship recipients to the Embassy to pick up their visas and a special gift bag of hand sanitizer, face shield, and Made-in-Taiwan surgical masks prepared by the Embassy,” a statement from the Embassy said.

The embassy extended well wishes to all students as they embark on a once in a lifetime experience in Taiwan.

Congratulations to the 48 recipients of the 2020 Taiwan Scholarships, a record high number since the inception of Taiwan Scholarships being offered to Belizean students.
