Woman shot in Trial Farm, Orange Walk

By BBN Staff: A woman was shot last night in Trial Farm Village in the Orange Walk District.

Reports are that a shop attendant, Lanir Campos, 34, was speaking with a group of people when a man wearing a mask approached them and began shooting. Campos was hit to the wrist during the incident and was taken for medical treatment.

At this time there is no official information to suggest who the intended target was.

Police are conducting an investigation into the matter.
