23 new cases of COVID-19 identified; 54 additional cases recovered

By BBN Staff: Twenty three (23) new cases of COVID-19 were detected today according to the latest COVID-19 update. These new cases were identified after a total of 252 samples were processed.

In addition, the Ministry of Health reports that 54 additional cases recovered today.

The breakdown of these cases is as follows:

Orange Walk District – 2 (San Pablo)
Belize District – 8 (4 Ladyville, 3 San Pedro, 1 Belize City)
Cayo District – 13 (4 in Belmopan, 3 Santa Familia, 3 San Ignacio, 2 San Jose Succotz, 1 Santa Elena)

The update advises Belizeans to “please continue to exercise all prevention measures at all times”.
