Director of Health Services: Over 1,000 active cases of COVID-19 in Belize

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health continues to conduct testing for COVID-19.

Up to date, a total of 10,814 tests have been done.

The country has now registered 1,435 confirmed cases of the virus.

There are now 1,012 active cases of COVID-19 being monitored.

Four hundred and four patients have recovered while nineteen people have lost their lives to the virus in Belize. 

The Ministry of Health continues to urge the public to adhere to all safety protocols and take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
