Belize Met Service: More rains forecasted over Coastal and Southern areas

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) is reporting that moist and unstable weather is expected today. 

The 24-hour forecast is for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells and some showers and thunderstorms occurring over Coastal and Southern areas this morning. 

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 79 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. 

 The extended forecast for Sunday is for isolated showers and thunderstorms to continue over inland and Southern areas.
