Police Corporal Anibal Mena succumbs to his injuries after road traffic accident in Northern Belize

By BBN Staff: Police Corporal Anibal Mena who was involved in a road traffic accident last week succumbed to his injuries this morning.

According to reports, Corporal Mena was driving his motorcycle from Corozal Town to Chan Chen last week when he collided with a pickup.

As a result, he received massive head and body injuries.

He was taken to the Corozal Community Hospital then to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted in a critical condition.

He passed away this morning.
