By BBN Staff: Anita Zetina, a stalwart Belizean, has been elected to serve as the Secretary General of the Central American Secretariat for Social Integration (SISCA) for the next four (4) years. SISCA which is headquartered in Antigua, Guatemala, is an important arm of the Central American Integration System (SICA).
Today, Special Envoy for Women and Children, Kim Simplis Barrow extended congratulations to Zetina.
“As an advocate and educator, Ms. Zetina has worked closely with the Special Envoy in areas of human rights, empowerment and the inclusion of vulnerable populations,” Barrow stated.
Barrow says that she has full confidence that Zetina will make significant contributions in her capacity as Secretary General of SISCA over the next four years.
