Supa G joins Sunday Vibes Linkup for biggest show yet

By BBN Staff: Vocalists, cultural dancers and DJ’s are coming together for the biggest session of the Sunday Vibes DJ Linkup to date, which will feature renowned punta sensation Supa G.

The linkup, which traditionally streams live from Cayo, will be coming live from the Culture Capital, Dangriga, as Supa G performs live with two vocalists from the Sweet Pain Band, Sheldon Petillo, and Timothy Martinez. The session will also feature cultural dancing from the Cherikanari cultural dance group.

Supa G told our newsroom that he supports the movement that DJ Linkup is pushing, and had himself thought of a similar movement for Belizean artists like himself. He notes that while Belize’s entertainment industry is suffering at the hands of the COVID-19 pandemic, it does present a unique opportunity for artists.

“One of the best times to advertise our selves is now because a lot of people are at home,” Supa G said. “A lot of people are home and they don’t have a lot to do so they will be on youtube and they will go to Tiktok, so this is the time.”

Super G, whose hit song Muevelo recently reached over 5 million Youtube streams, promised to bring his trademark energy to make sure that this edition of the Linkup will be one to remember.

The stream runs from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
