Belize Met Service: Weather conditions remain unstable

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says generally moist and unstable conditions will persist today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers, thunderstorms, and periods of rain will occur over most areas this afternoon and then mostly over inland areas tonight. Otherwise, showers and thunderstorms will be isolated.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 85 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees
Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be light and variable and the sea state will be slight.

High tide came in at 6:00 a.m. and low tide will begin at 1:41 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:56 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 2:43 a.m.
