Police to investigate video showing assault of woman

By Aaron Humes: Commissioner of Police Chester Williams says he has directed an investigation into a video he received showing an alleged assault of a woman on the open street.

From what we have seen of the video it shows a man, unmasked, holding a woman’s hair and repeatedly threatening and making derogatory comments about her.

There are at least four other men shown, one of whom is carrying what appears to be a bottle of beer which would be a public drinking violation.

The voice of another woman is heard, likely the recorder of the video.
