Belize Met Service: Cloudy day ahead

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says that today will be filled with cloudy spells as generally moist and unstable conditions continue.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells today and tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop, but will affect mostly inland and southern areas, especially this afternoon.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 83 degrees
Fahrenheit along the coast, to 76 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be light and variable and the sea state will be slight.

High tide came in at 7:04 a.m. and low tide will begin at 2:24 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:55 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 3:45 a.m.
