The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says that today’s weather will be warm but still relatively moist and unstable.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated this morning with a few more developing inland this afternoon and then over the south tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 98 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
“Residents, especially inland, are advised to remain hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible,” the Met Service said.
Winds will be blowing East-Southeast between 05-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.
High tide will come in at 8:00 a.m. and low tide will begin at 3:03 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:54 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 4:47 a.m.
