COVID-19 update: 27 new cases identified

By BBN Staff: Data from the Ministry of Health indicate that of the 334 samples were processed today, 27 new cases were identified.

The breakdown is as follows:

Corozal District – 13 (7 Patchakan, 3 Concepcion, 1 Xaibe, 1 Santa Clara, 1 Progreso)
Orange Walk District – 10 (3 Orange Walk Town, 3 August Pine Ridge, 1 Carmelita, 1 San Luis, 1 San Pablo, 1 San Jose)
Belize District – 4 (all in Belize City)

Today, a total of 123 have recovered.

There are now 55.4 % of total identified cases that are active.

The public is urged to continue to exercise all necessary prevention measures as only collectively we will be able to flatten this curve.
