Humana store in Independence robbed

By Aaron Humes: Two persons have been detained for questioning concerning the robbery of the Humana People to People store in Independence village, Stann Creek District.

Police say the store’s manager and her assistants were in the store around 1:35 Saturday afternoon when they were menaced by two men armed with a shotgun and machete respectively.

They demanded and got a sum of money as well as a worker’s bicycle that was parked outside the store.
