Orange Walk leads active cases of COVID-19 by district

By BBN Staff: Data from the Ministry of Health indicate that up to date, there have been 1,501 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Belize.

There are now 942 active cases of the virus across the country.

Of the active cases, 444 are females and 498 are males.

The breakdown of active cases by District is as follows:

Orange Walk- 333

Belize- 184

Cayo- 150

San Pedro- 140  ( listed separately for data purposes)

Corozal- 103

Stann Creek-27

Toledo-5

The Ministry says that it listed active cases for San Pedro Ambergris Caye separately.

The Ministry of Health continues to urge the public to adhere to all safety protocols and take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
