By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred around 4 yesterday afternoon in Belize City.

Devon Michael Sanchez told police that he was riding on Ordonez Avenue along with Shawn Diaz and another person when a man just ran out of a yard and fired shots at them.

Sanchez was hit on his right elbow.

He was taken to the KHMH where he was admitted in a stable condition.

Investigation continues.
