Worldometer reports that as of today, global cases are at 30,030,839 around the globe.
There are 7,226,647 active cases and as the number of infections rises, so does the number of deaths.
Deaths due to COVID-19 around the world is at 945,051.
The United States continues to lead global infections now recording over 6.8 million confirmed cases. Some 201,348 people have died from COVID-19 in the US.
India is next in line for global infections with a total of 5.1 million, with 83,230 people dying from the virus.
Brazil ranks third in terms of highest number of confirmed cases at 4.4 million. There have been 134, 174 deaths to COVID-19 in Brazil.
Belize’s standings in the world rankings is at 156 with 1,536 confirmed cases of the virus. Nineteen people in Belize have lost their lives to COVID-19.
