National Met Service: Strong thunderstorms and winds forecasted over some parts of Belize today

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service has just issued a weather alert for strong thunderstorms with damaging winds and possibility of hail occurring over the mountains in the Stann-Creek, Cayo and Belize Districts.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop inland.

The extended forecast for Saturday afternoon through to midday Sunday is for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly over southern and inland areas.
