Orange Walk woman dies of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health’s latest update on COVID-19 indicates that a woman from Orange Walk passed away at her home today.

The woman is an elderly person who had shown COVID-19 like symptoms but had not been tested for the virus. A sample was taken after the woman died, and as a result the Ministry reports that the diagnosis was made post-mortem.

The woman is the 21^st person in Belize to die of COVID-19.
