Belize Electricity Limited issues notice of planned power outage for Belize City

By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) announced today that there will be a planned power outage affecting a portion of Belize City on Wednesday, September 23.

The areas to be affected are the entirety of Faber’s Road, Krooman Road, Rio Bravo Crescent, Whistling Duck, Madam Liz Avenue, Sanker Street, Arlington Drive, Nurse Findley Crescent, and Fabers Road Extension.

“BEL crews to remove hazardous vegetation growing into power lines and energize power lines to improve power supply for customers in the area,” the company said.

The power outage is expected to last from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
