The Airport Link Road connecting the major highways will be renamed after John Smith, first leader of the People’s Committee and co-founder of the People’s United Party.
Clifford Betson, prominent Labour leader, will have his name on the Chetumal Street Bridge linking Belama to Lake Independence.
Leigh Richardson gets his name added to the new headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Belmopan.
Sir Manuel Esquivel’s name now graces the Coastal Highway, now under reconstruction.
And long-time public servant Eleanor Hall’s name goes on the administration building being built along the Lake Independence Boulevard.
