Paid Contribution: ‘Lupe’, as thousands of Orange Walk residents call her, is a trained Youth Development professional and is one of the most thoughtful, hardworking, and helpful persons you could find.

Her record of longstanding community work can be traced back to 1995 when she started volunteering with the Youth Department and Human Development Department. An environmentalist, too, she led the implementation of a watershed project for the National Biodiversity and Action Plan Project.

Her youth work has allowed her to represent Belize internationally on multiple occasions, and she has organized successful youth groups all across Belize and has also served as Program Coordinator of the Personal Development and Apprenticeship program.

Lupe has been a well-respected grassroots leader in Orange Walk, always championing the cause of, and lobbying on behalf of youth, farmers, the sick, and the unemployed.

Most importantly, Lupe delivers! She acts on assurances given to her people, always willing to knock on countless doors in her quest to procure the goods and services needed by her people.

When voted in as the next Area Representative of Orange Walk South, Lupe will ensure that more opportunities are available for residents, more career paths for young people, and will deliver even greater educational opportunities for residents; true pathways to self-reliance and development.
