By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says an increase in showery activity is expected on Friday but that conditions remain fair today.
For the next 24 hours, skies will be sunny with cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop mainly along the coast this morning, then move inland this afternoon. Later, there will be isolated showers and thunderstorms in the south before increasing along the coast tonight.
Winds will be light and variable and sea conditions slight.
Temperatures will hit highs of 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 96 inland and 82 in the hills. It will be cooler tonight with lows of 78 along the coast, 73 inland and 68 in the hills.
Tides will.be low at 10:46 a.m. this morning and 9:34 p.m. tonight and high at 5:17 p.m. this evening.
The Sun sets at 5:46 p.m. and rises 5:42 a.m. Friday.
The extended outlook is for a few showers and thunderstorms over most areas through Friday and mainly the coast on Friday night.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico, during the next 48 hours.
