Belize has registered over 1,700 confirmed cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect millions of people around the world.

In Belize, the number of confirmed cases continues to rise. The country has now registered 1,758 confirmed cases of the virus.

Of the confirmed cases, 806 are females and 952 are males.

One thousand seventy-two people have recovered from the virus while six hundred and sixty-four cases remain active.

To date, the Ministry of Health has conducted 13,719 tests.

Twenty-two people have lost their lives to COVID-19 in Belize.
