Ministry of Health: Orange Walk leads in confirmed cases of COVID-19 by district

By BBN Staff: Data from the Ministry of Health indicate that up to date, there have been 1,854 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Belize.

There are now 634 active cases of the virus across the country.

Of the active cases, 291 are females and 343 are males.

The breakdown of confirmed cases by District is as follows:

Orange Walk- 656

Belize- 334

Cayo- 255

San Pedro- 305 ( listed separately for data purposes)

Corozal- 233

Stann Creek- 52

Toledo-19

The Ministry of Health continues to urge the public to adhere to all safety protocols and take all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
