Belizean Coast Guard officer commences training at Republic of China Naval Academy

By BBN Staff: Belizean Coast Guard officer, Tyler Reyes has commenced military training and academic studies at the Republic of China Naval Academy in Taiwan.

Reyes begins his training after completing an intense 6 month mandarin course in February.

The Naval academy is the military academy for the navy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and is located at Nanzih District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.

“We are certain that he will continue to make his family, colleagues and country proud while enjoying his journey with exuberance and plenteous harvests in Taiwan,” a statement from the Taiwan Embassy said.
