By BBN Staff: Kim Simplis Barrow is preparing to end her time as the Special Envoy for Women and Children (SEWC), a post she has held since October 2008.
Barrow announced today, that, on the occasion of her departure, she will be hosting a special virtual presentation on Thursday, October 1.
The presentation will be streamed live on the Government of Belize Press Office Facebook Page as well as her own SEWC Facebook Page.
Throughout her tenure as the SEWC, Barrow has spearheaded several notable projects such as the establishment of The Inspiration Center which offers much-needed therapy to children with disabilities, and the construction of a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
