Man killed at Placencia municipal pier

By BBN Staff: BBN has confirmed that a man was shot and killed at the Placencia municipal pier some time after 6:00 this evening.

Details are scarce but sources have confirmed the victim as George Murphy. According to reports, a group of men were on the pier were someone started firing, fatally wounding Murphy.

Sources tell BBN a gang rivalry in the area may be the cause of recent violence, though Murphy himself was not known to be a member of any gang.
