Ministry of Health: 26 people have died of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: On Tuesday, the Ministry reported 2 more deaths, a female in her 70’s and a male in his 60’s both from the Orange Walk District.

The female patient had been at the Northern Regional hospital.

The diagnosis of the male patient was done post mortem.

Data from the Ministry of Health indicate that so far 26 people in Belize have died of COVID-19.

Ten are females and 16 are males.

There have been 1,943 confirmed cases of the virus in Belize.

There are now 692 active cases of the virus.
