The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that moist and unstable weather conditions will continue today as a tropical wave approaches Belize.
The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with a few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms increasing around the country this afternoon and tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing North-Northwest between 00-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.
High tide will come in at 9:41 a.m. and low tide will begin at 4:06 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:40 p.m. and the moon will rise at 5:55 p.m.
