Ministry of Health: 34 new cases of COVID-19 detected; 26 cases recovered

By BBN Staff: Thirty four new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Belize today after a total of 180 samples were processed.

They are distributed as follows:

Cayo – 1 in Belmopan
Belize – 6 (5 in city, 1 in San Pedro)
Corozal – 5 (3 in town, 1 Calcutta, 1 Concepcion)
Orange Walk – 22 (16 in town, 2 Yo Creek, 2 Carmelita, 1 Tower Hill, 1 San Luis)

There were 26 recovered cases reported. In addition, 727 or 35.9% of total positive cases are still active.
