Planned power outage to run until 3 p.m. in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) said today that the ongoing planned power outage in Belize City will last until 3:00 p.m.

The outage, which began at 6:00 a.m. is affecting the portion of Albert Street between Orange & King Streets, Orange St, Church St., Water Lane, Regent St West, portion West & East Canals between King St & Regent St West, portion King St between East Canal & Albert St, portion Bishop St between East Canal & Orange St, portion Prince St between West Canal & Albert St, portion Plues St between Dean & King Sts, portion West & George Streets between Orange & Bhagdad Sts.

“BEL crews to relocate power lines to facilitate Ministry of Works with drainage upgrades in the area,” BEL said.
