Posted: Wednesday, October 7, 2020. 3:03 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: The Belize Registrar of Companies and Corporate Affairs  (BCCAR) today announced the launch of the BCCAR website www.belizecompaniesregistry.gov.bz.

The website was launched to facilitate digital transactions.

The public is now able to easily access all the relevant information, requirements, and forms for services at the local registry.

The website provides guidance on accessing services digitally minimizing the need to physically visit the local registry.

BCCAR is also now accepting payment via online banking and bank deposits and will soon offer credit/debit card payments as an option to minimize the use of cash.

BCCAR says that it is taking steps to improve the ease of doing business in Belize and enable efficiency in the delivery of services to the public and keep the public and the local registry staff safe during the current pandemic.

“ These changes are in keeping with Government’s policy of improving the delivery of Government services using information and communication technology,” the department said.
