Police apprehend alleged mastermind behind Mr. Program murder

By BBN Staff: After several days on the run, police have finally caught the man who is allegedly responsible for the murder of popular Belizean artist Gilbert Alamilla, better known as Mr. Program.

Today, police officially arrested and charged Ladyville resident Raheem Davann Marsden, 28, for the crime of murder.

Alamilla was stabbed to death on October 2, while socializing with two people he knew. Allegations are that Marsden entered the house where they were and threatened to kill them all, then told one Clayton White to stab Alamilla.

White was arrested and charged following the incident. Alamilla’s body is scheduled to be laid to rest this Thursday.
