Apartment building destroyed by fire in Belize City

By BBN Staff: A wooden apartment building located at the corners of Partridge and Haulze streets was completely destroyed by fire around 10:45 last night.

According to reports, the fire started in one of the apartments, however, the exact cause has not been determined yet. The two story buolding was not insured and neither were its contents. The total value of the loss has not been determined either.

No-one was inside the building during the fire and no injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire remains on-going.
