One reportedly killed in King’s Park shooting

By BBN Staff: One man was reportedly shot and killed earlier tonight on 2nd Street in the King’s Park area of Belize City near popular Chinese establishment ‘Alaska’.

According to reports, the deceased is confirmed as Leon Peyrefitte.

Residents in the area reported seeing two men flee the scene following the shooting. Police are on the scene investigating. Peyrefitte was transported the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
